Rep. Veasey works with Time Warner Cable for his March ‘Marc Means Business’ workday
Farmer’s Branch, TX – (RealEstateRama) — On Monday, March 28, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will clock in bright and early to join the Dallas area staff of Time Warner Cable to learn firsthand about the telecommunications industry and assist in cable installation services for DFW Metroplex residents. After participating in an abbreviated training, Veasey will perform warehouse equipment check-ins and assist in two cable and high-speed internet installations for TX-33 residents.
“Access to reliable internet service is an everyday necessity for millions of Americans. By working with Time Warner Cable, I hope to learn more about the challenges of the telecommunications business and work alongside the hardworking technicians that are connecting our world every day,” Congressman Veasey said.
Time Warner Cable (TWC) is among the largest providers of video, high-speed data and voice services in the United States, connecting 16 million customers to entertainment, information and each other. Time Warner Cable currently employs more than 9,000 people in the state of Texas including more than 2,800 employees in the DFW Metroplex alone.
