Weber, Sr. (R-TX) joined Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Rep. Brian Babin at Port Houston, where Duffy announced modernized LNG safety regulations and a license for a new LNG export port offshore Matagorda. The release says the rule is expected to save over $100 million, and the port would support 2,000 construction jobs and up to 855 permanent jobs.
