City of Fort Worth: Fair Housing Month forum to discuss housing rights for people with disabilities

Fort Worth, TX – March 27, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The Mayor’s Committee on Persons with Disabilities will host a community forum April 9 in recognition of Fair Housing Month.

The forum, running from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods, will focus on opportunities that are available to improve the lives of persons living with or caring for persons with disabilties. A representative from the Fair Housing Office of the Department of Housing and Urban Development will give a presentation and conduct a question-and-answer session on concerns from the disabled community.
