Conrad Madsen, SIOR and Greg Nelson principals of the Dallas/Fort Worth office, represented the tenant in the transaction. The buyer, Rico’s Products, Inc. is an internationally known originator of concession nachos.
“It is a homecoming of sorts for Rico’s, since nachos were first introduced at Arlington Stadium, the former home of the Texas Rangers,” said Madsen. “This facility provides a more centralized location in Dallas/Fort Worth and roughly triples their production capacity.”
Currently, the company has expanded its concession line into popcorn, pickles and peppers, all of which can be found at local retailers or entertainment venues.
The landlord, BHP Sale Builders Hardware, Ltd. was represented by John Brewer of CB Richard Ellis.
