The lessee, Essex Group, Inc. / Superior Essex, Inc., a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of wire and cable products will relocate from their current facility at 7001 South 33rd Street and take occupancy in October 2012. Tommy Hiles, SIOR of Lee & Associates Atlanta represented the lessee, and Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the lessor.
Over the last 18 months, Lee & Associates completed eight transactions for the Essex Group, Inc. / Superior Essex, Inc. who have also selected Lee & Associates to dispose of their surplus availabilities: a 235,000-square-foot building in Chester, S.C. marketed for sale by the Greenville, S.C. Lee office; a 261,816-square-foot building in Vincennes, Ind. marketed by the Indianapolis office; and a sublease in Willowbrook, Ill marketed by the Chicago office.
