International Delegation Visits Austin REALTOR® Association
Austin Board of REALTORS® shares Association information with foreign real estate agents
AUSTIN, TX – March 25, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — An international delegation from ERA Real Estate, a global residential real estate firm, visited the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) on Thursday afternoon, March 21, as part of the ERA International Business Conference. The group included 75 brokers and agents from Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Cathy Coneway, 2013 Chairman of the Austin Board of REALTORS®, commented, “In Europe, the idea of a real estate association is not very widespread. Very few countries have an active association, and those that do sometimes exclude franchisees from larger networks because they see them as competing with the Association. We hope the delegation’s visit will help expand the positive image of a real estate association worldwide.”
ABoR staff delivered presentations alongside the Managing Director of ERA Japan, Minoru Asai, CEO of ERA Colonial Real Estate, Dennis DeWine, and President of ERA Europe, Francois Gagnon. Additionally, staff answered questions regarding the Austin real estate market, training, and other services they provide members along with demonstrations of software products ABoR and its members utilize.
