Early Tuesday, House Bill 2590 (HB2590) passed the Texas Senate on a unanimous vote. On Friday afternoon, Governor Greg Abbott requested a Presidential Disaster Declaration for Texas counties due to damage sustained from the severe weather, tornadoes and flooding.
