AUSTIN, TX – October 28, 2008 – (RealEstateRama) — Governor Rick Perry has appointed Donnie Wisenbaker of Sulphur Springs to the Governing Board of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs’ (TDHCA) Manufactured Housing Division. The Board is responsible for setting policy for the Division and addressing a broad range of issues relating to the regulation of the state’s manufactured housing industry.

Mr. Wisenbaker replaces Carlos Amaral of Plano on the Manufactured Housing Division’s Governing Board, whose term expired. His appointment is subject to confirmation by the Texas Senate.

“I am honored to have been appointed to the Manufactured Housing Division Board,” Wisenbaker said. “I hope my background as an insurance adjuster and my experience in manufactured housing claims will bring a useful perspective in serving the consumer and manufactured housing industry.”

“We’re excited about the appointment of Mr. Wisenbaker to our Governing Board,” said Joe Garcia, TDHCA Manufactured Housing Division Executive Director. “His professional background, combined with his experience in setting and evaluating ethics and reporting standards, allows him to bring a valuable skill set to our board. The Division’s staff and I look forward to a close, productive working relationship.”

Wisenbaker is president of Wisenbaker, Inc., doing business as Frontier Adjusters, Inc., of Sulphur Springs, part of a national network of claims adjusters serving northeastern Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.
