“The city of Corpus Christi has done a wonderful job of providing housing for our homeless population in an effort to get them off the street and become productive members of society,” said Ortiz.  “I am proud that HUD has seen the hard work the city is doing and will continue to extend these services.”

The programs that will receive the funding include the city’s Project Bridge for Families, Project Bridge for Singles, Project HOME I, Rustic House, Sunrise Recovery House, Work 2000, and the Wesley Community Center Child Care.
