NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – June 30, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — To call the manager at the New Braunfels McCoy’s Building Supply store new may be a bit of a misnomer. With more than 30 years of experience in the lumber business, newly appointed manager Bill Aldrich brings a wealth of knowledge to his team.
Aldrich has worked as a manager at various lumber yards during his career, even owning his own lumberyard for three years. Aldrich says his move to the New Braunfels McCoy’s is a new journey for him and his family.
“All of my previous positions have been in Kingsville, Texas,” Aldrich says. “My wife and I wanted to move to this area to be closer to my daughter who lives in San Antonio. My interest in moving to New Braunfels was to relocate because of the atmosphere, climate and beauty of the area. I plan on retiring here.”
A 20-year member of the Rotary International service organization, Aldrich plans on becoming deeply involved with his new community.
“My goal is to improve my store’s involvement in the community both for me and my employees,” Aldrich says. “I want to develop the relationships between McCoy’s employees and our customers. Friendly service is key for McCoy’s. We’ll try to go that extra step to satisfy our customer’s needs.”
When asked about future plans for the store Aldrich says the focus is simple.
“I want McCoy’s to be the place to shop for building materials in New Braunfels,” Aldrich says. “We already have an extensive product selection in place today but if you don’t see it, we can order it. Our Specials Orders system is better than ever, and there’s not much that we can’t locate for you.”
Aldrich’s wife, Jennifer Aldrich, is a first grade teacher with 29 years of experience. His daughter, Sarah Visel, 28, teaches drill team at Clark High School in San Antonio. His son Scott Aldrich, 23, is studying wildlife management at Texas A&M – Kingsville.
