On Monday, March 28, 2016, Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, will clock in bright and early to join the Dallas area staff of Time Warner Cable to learn firsthand about the telecommunications industry and assist in cable installation services for DFW Metroplex residents. After participating in an abbreviated training, Veasey will perform warehouse equipment check-ins and assist in two cable and high-speed internet installations for TX-33 residents

Fort Worth, TX - March 13, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33) announced the awarding of over $500,000 federal funds to the Fort Worth Housing Authority (FWHA). The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded $250,000 in Emergency Capital Funds to FWHA, which will be used to improve the safety and security at Butler Place Public Housing Community. Another $269,856 will go to the Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program that assists families with supportive services

Rep. Lamar Smith voted to provide $15 billion in emergency funding for the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), the Small Business Administration (SBA), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to fund recovery efforts following Hurricane Harvey. The funding bill also extends the National Flood Insurance Program.
