The U.S. Department of the Treasury today announced that it awarded a $4,036,238 research grant under the RESTORE Act to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller today announced the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has awarded $750,000 to the city of Montgomery through the Texas Capital Fund (TCF).The grant will be used for water, sewer, road and drainage infrastructure improvements, as well as engineering services. The award will support the creation of a retail grocery facility operated by Kroger Texas Ltd. and result in 52 new full-time jobs

Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller today announced the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has awarded $1 million to Polk County, located northeast of Houston, for infrastructure improvements and engineering services through the Texas Capital Fund (TCF). The award will support the creation of a wood-product manufacturing facility operated by Corrigan OSB, LLC and create 100 new, full-time jobs
